Interrogate your
design Process
Did you analyse the brief?
No, there was no analysis, the brief connotation referred to
the rational for the brief.
Did you think of the context of the brief?
Yes, the context was answering the practical response
towards printed and screen based design. The context could be taken further by exploring
different routes in response to a practical sector of the brief.
Did you outline the problem?
For the second brief the problem was identified, however for
brief 1 the brief was not outlining the problem.
Was your research through and meaningful?
Yes, the research was meaningful through conceptualisation.
This introduced contextual research which helped stem the design process.
For the second brief, more persona research was needed, to
help develop the app further and create a more conceptual approach.
Did you arrive at some ideas through research?
For brief 1 the ideas were explored, however more conceptual
ideas could be explored as some ideas came simplified and minimal. For the
second brief, there was a lack of concept.
Did your development more than one conceptual idea through
research?
Yes, the conceptual ideas in brief 1 was backed up with a
lot of contextual research.
Did you generate more than one conceptual idea?
Yes, many ideas were explored for the design process.
Did you multiple visual and creative solution?
Yes, the visual solutions were strong, as the final outcome
came out successfully.
Did you develop several possible solutions?
No, this needs improvement by producing prototypes to ensure
the final outcome performs to the best of its ability. Prototypes should have
been required. Therefore, for the next brief, I will ensure 3 prototypes are
produced to help stem a perfect outcome.
