Brief 01: Final Poster

The PPP session began with creating A2 posters of self branding. How we perceive ourself's as designers. A well as including our interests.

The poster includes a more handcraft approach, to establish my style before the course and to address how I miss working in this manner. Another concept I haven’t enjoyed is not drawing as much and not developing this skill.

I have included this drawing of a rose into the poster to juxtapose the meaning and how I would develop drawings from my imagination without a meaning. The whole idea of Why do we need meaning? What happened to creating something lovely to look at.

The drawing is personal to me as it addresses the idea of me blossoming into Level 5 as well as including my tattoo work which I would like to go to in the future.

Two things which I have learnt is meaning and concept. I feel as this is a weakness and not a way of how I would work, I have engaged with this by taking feedback on board and working in this way to fit criteria’s.

The typeface is influenced by cryptic codes which I have collected. I have adapted this typeface to create the idea of confusing, of who I am as a designer.

To develop this poster further I could perhaps include photography and illustration perhaps done on illustrator to establish my aims for level five. The feedback given was to create more of a concept to develop my work further.
