Contact sheets showing all the photos from the photoshoot. From these sheets I selected the best shots, this is shown by a white mark on the Bottom left of the image.

Through this photography, I wanted to include a variation of location shots to address the idea of diversity. The car park location shots was the most effective, due to the colour scheme by the clothing and scenery all co-ordinating with each other. I included a variation of poses for the model such as sitting down, and standing up. I also changed the angle when photographing, this conveyed the theme of variation. Consequently, I included close up shots, taken in an angle to convey power and strength. As this angle was used traditionally on men to emphasise power and strength.
For the photoshoot in the orange outfit, the location was another car park. This photoshoot was not as successful as this car park wasn't as modern compared to the previous car park location. The scenery was muddy, however this created a rustic approach. This could be adapted when designing, this could be through applying statements from experiences. For example, applying the word 'unprofessional' on the image, as this is a word which many people of colour have been called for wearing braids. In some images the sky appeared dull, therefore these images will have to be touched up with photoshop; through touching up the levels and brightness. Another issue was this car park was a lot busier, therefore in some of the images, there were cars in the background, which made the images unflattering. As a result of this, I changed the mode of the camera to portrait mode to ensure the background was blurred.
Some location shots I did not use, as there was only one shot which was successful. For the publication, I wanted to have a variety of images from the same location, to act as sections within the publication. Each section will explore a different topic. Therefore, I selected the strongest location shots by a variation of images, as well as diversity within the clothing, ensuring the clothes were not too similar.
Overall, this photoshoot was more successful compared to my previous shoots. I developed my location knowledge and tested and developed shoots to ensure I got the best location. I also played with angle to vary my images. To develop this further, I will carry on creating photoshoots which are fashion based. To improve this further, I will pick a more sunnier day to explore different lighting. This will be useful for briefs in the future. To develop this further, I could also research into campaign ads in the fashion industry, researching into photographers which is used. I will also use a different lens for my next shoot.
Best Shots which I developed further through Photoshop. I altered the levels and applied a brightness and strong contrast. I then changed the size and ensured the image was at 300p as this publication will be printed.
