Step 1-Initial prep of images Photoshop. Find the resolution. Image, image size, change resolution to 300. Before you change the resolution, untick resample and change the resolution to 300.
Save the image to tiff/psd. All images are in the same folder.
Step 2: In design layout-include rectangle frame tool to mark unto bleed. Place image, then press fill frame proportionally/ fit content proportionally.
Select image click on link. The effective PPI needs to be 300 scale percentage. Select image- right click- edit- with- Photoshop. To change the width and height tick resample when the resolution is right.
Edit with Photoshop, Image- mode- CMYK colour.
File- new- document.
Print- Bleed and slug 3mm bleed. slug- fold marks- crop marks.
Readers spread- printers spread
To Print booklet
Set up- booklet type 2-up saddle stitch
Print settings- choose printer, general- print blank pages.
set up (paper you are printing on)paper size- (A3)
Page Position - centred
Marks and bleed- tick use document bleed setting
Creating an order on Indesign
The order introduced a sense of category created through subcultures: Suburban, Fashion, Music, Nightlife, and Travel.
The process of Indesign, helps structure the booklet and allows printing for particular binds. The designs shows how the double page spreads will appear within the booklet. The type of bind matters, which will be considered when picking printing options.

Applying Texts in Indesign. The title page is minimalistic through composition layout which conveys Youth Culture.
The Content page was produced to develop the publication further. This helps identify what category is which, and to show the user what each sections means.
Development
During the critique, it was stated to create Title pages which are innovative, the technique of fragmentation was through creating backgrounds as well as introducing photomontage which incorporate texture and colour. The feedback, given was the use of Photoshop creates the images to appear more clearer and dynamic.
