Printworks London
A brand identity for a cultural event in London. The concept was to wrap type around cylinders to relate to the aesthetic of print process. The design generated infinite iterations of logotypes. Typographic expression and the movement inherit to historic printing. Layouts were inspired by printed newspaper sheets offer a snapshot of the process which emphasises a massy nature towards press. The videos included movement which mimic the process of print.
Rebrand for University of Suffolk as they gained status to become a Univeristy.
The aim was to create a system which was flexible, bold and, progressive for the University. A 45 degree angle was used to address the concept of change as well as to reference the location of the area in England.
The design focuses on posters, way finding within the institution.
Lost village is a new upcoming festival which combines live theatre with an electric music line-up. The company asked Only to create a brand which fitted the festivals persona. The goal was to create the festival which made is unique and stand out compared to it's competitors.
The approach was through mark making used through the movements within the festival. The designers created a typeface which included this aesthetic.
