Personas- Research into the chosen Media

Concept:

Is to create a restaurant profile for Trinity kitchen which turns restaurants receipts into experience snapshots. The app will remember your receipts, where you will able to rate dishes. The purpose of this is to remember what meals you have had and to encourage user's to have it again. The app will make it easier for users to make decisions if they are indecisive or unsure of what to eat. It will make an easier decision of what to get. The app will include a loyalty sections to collect points. It will also show promotions as people are unaware of these within Trinity Kitchen.

Research into Trinity Kitchen

The concept behind Trinity Kitchen is inspired by street food around the world. There are 8 permanent companies as well as temporary stalls which includes foods from different cultures. The aesthetic includes graffiti street art, and includes innovative 3D design, including LED lights. The aspect of colour plays a huge role incorporated through street food culture.

Permanent Brands:

360- Champagne and cocktail bar, The store includes a sophisticated and boutique feel, used for relaxation. The champagne is inexpensive, as well as selling a wide range of flavours of cocktails. The company also sell creamy cupcakes, which users may be unaware of. The app will create recognition for other food sold at these stalls which are unknown.

Chicago Rib Shack:

Bob Payton is the founder of Chicago Rib shack, where he wanted to expand the Chicago food culture within the UK. In 1982, Chicago Rib Shack was launched. The recipes are taken from America, creating the concept of experiencing the American Culture.

Chicago Rib Shack includes many discounts for students, which users are not aware of. My role as a designer will to communicate these promotions to create awareness. The discounts include: 15% off food, and 30% off every Tuesday- which is known as double discount day. Wings Wednesday include £1 wings all day. Burger Thursday allows you to choose any burger for only £10 with fries and a drink.

The company also includes Christmas menus, this could perhaps be a design feature, that the app will include new features which relates to seasons, as food is the main role for celebration.

Chip and Fish:

British theme, Traditional fish and chips, taken from the British culture.

Duck n Roll

The menu focuses on duck, features duck burgers, Automatic Duck Shawarma, New York Duck Pastrami and hand cut fries. Explores street food dishes made by duck. American concept.

Pho

Explores Vietnamese street food, was founded by husband and wife, Stephen and Jules Wall in 2005. The married couple travelled to Vietnamese and collected recipes which explores Vietnamese street culture.

Pizza Luxe

Thin base is made from fresh yeast and fine flour. The tomato sauce is made freshly where the pizzas explore individuality through different toppings. The company was founded by Laura Pabon and her partner Paul Goodale. Explores the Italian street food culture.

Rola Wala

Rola Sala is an Indian Street food Culture stall, founded by Mark Wright. The company started with a kerb food. The store explores a fusion of spices, spiced fillings, fresh salads, sharp chutney. The food includes a combination of spice, savoury, sweet and sour flavours. Explores sourdough naan, and vibrant Indian wraps.

For every meal sold at Rosa Sala- provide a school meal to a hungry child living in poverty, provided 350,000.

Tortilla

Mexican food which include tacos and burritos. The company include Californian traditional food. The source includes organic ingredients. Brandon and Jen, married, started Tortilla in 2007 after a four year search across London for Burritos and tacos. The company also includes 10% discount.
